Adult Summer Reading Club
This summer, all adult patrons are welcome to participate in our Summer Reading Club. Participants will track and review their reading over the summer, win prizes, and attend special library events. There will be an adult “Show and Tell” party on Thursday, June 19 at 5:30, and a “Christmas in July”
BINGO Night on Wednesday, July 30 at 5:30  We also welcome patrons of all ages to submit their original works of art (drawings, paintings, crafts, sculptures) to the Reference Desk starting Monday, June 23 to be put on display at the library. Please call the Reference Desk at 570-454-2961 to register for the club. Registration begins Monday, June 9. 

Children's Summer Reading Club
The Hazleton Area Public Library's Summer Reading Club for children registration begins at the main library and all its branches on Monday, June 9. Joining the Summer Reading Club gives access to exclusive programs, a reading challenge, fun prizes, and a special party. All events hosted by our club are free and open to the public.This year's theme is " Color Our World," so look forward to fun themes revolving around art and other colorful creations. Walking Meditation at Greater Hazleton Rails to Trails
The library will be hosting a guided meditation walk at  Greater Hazleton Rails to Trails on Saturday, June 21 at 1:00.Licensed meditation instructor  Sheila Dignazio will guide us through various meditation exercises as we enjoy a relaxing walk on the trail. It is free for all adults to attend. We will meet at the Broad St. entrance across from Dr. Sacco's office. Please call the Reference Desk at 570-454-2961 to register.
 
Adult Board Game Night
The library is hosting a board game night for adults on Saturday, June 28 from 1:00 – 2:30. It will take place in the library's Community Room (Green Street entrance), and it is free for all adults to attend. We will provide plenty of classic games, including Scrabble, Scattergories, UNO, chess, and Pictionary. Participants are also welcome to bring their own games. Please register by calling the Reference Desk at 570-454-2961.
