The Mind-Body Connection 

Looking to improve your physical and mental wellbeing? The library will be hosting licensed therapist Karen Holcomb on Saturday, May 3rd for a presentation on the mind-body connection. Karen will discuss ways in which participants can better understand and take control of their health. It will take place in the library's Community Room (Green St. entrance) from 1-2pm and it is free for all adults to attend. Please register using the link below.

Intro to Meditation

Are you looking for a constructive way to deal with stress? Unsure if meditation can work for you because you've heard you have to empty your mind or sit completely still? Certified meditation instructor Sheila Dignazio will offer an introductory session in which she will bust some common myths about meditation and share a few basic meditation and mindfulness techniques that can help bring more balance into your life. The program will take place on Saturday, May 17th at 1pm in the library's Community Room. Please register using the link below.

Adult Board Game Night 

The library is hosting a board game night for adults on May 20th from 6 – 7:30pm. It will take place in the library's Community Room and it is free for all adults to attend. We will provide plenty of classic games, including Scrabble, Scategories, UNO, chess, and Pictionary. Participants are welcome to bring their own games as well. Please register using the link below.
