Walking Meditation at Greater Hazleton Rails to Trails
The Hazleton Area Public Library will be hosting a walking meditation program in collaboration with Greater Hazleton Rails to Trails and certified meditation instructor Sheila Dignazio on Saturday, May 16th from 1-2pm. Participants will enjoy a leisurely 2-mile trek as our instructor guides us through various meditation exercises. The program is free to attend. We will meet in the parking lot of Rails to Trails at the Broad St. entrance. Please register using the link below.

Board Game Night
The Hazleton Area Public Library will be hosting a free board game night for adults on Tuesday, May 19th from 6pm-7:30pm in the library's Community Room (Green St. entrance). Plenty of games will be provided, but patrons may bring their own games as well. Please register in advance by using the link below.

Getting Unstuck with Karen Holcomb, L.S.W.
On Saturday, May 30th from 1-2pm, the library invites you to join licensed therapist Karen Holcomb for an informative discussion on how social media can help and harm our mental health, and how we can maintain optimal physical and mental well-being. It is free for all adults to attend and it will take place in the library’s Community Room, which is accessible from the side entrance on Green St. Please register in advance by using the link below.

Patriotic Pysanky Class
The library will be hosting pysanky class instructor Tammy Budnovitch on Saturday, June 20th from 1-3pm in the Community Room (Green St. entrance). Attendees will be making a patriotic-themed pysanky design. Please register in advance as space is limited. The class is $25 to attend. Payments (cash or check) must be made at the Reference Desk by June 19th. The presenter will also accept Venmo payments; staff will provide the necessary information to do so upon registration. The cost of the class covers all supplies needed for the craft. Please register using the link below. We hope to see you there!
