What I see now are flickering lights warm and red, dancing upon the ceiling. As I look to the window a soft, white snowfall, silent and complete as it lays on the ground or rests upon the windowsill.
When I breath, crisp air fills my lungs; yet it is not cold, but a clear warmth that touches my heart with an everlasting glow.
I can feel the sense of belonging as I gaze outside the window at white pinnacles of heaven’s glory.
They are as sharp as glistening spears that pierce the surrounding sunset.

I woke up one morning, got ready for school.
It was about 5th period when I saw this strange person walking the hallways.
I asked to be excused.
When I went to see who the person was.
They introduced themselves as Thomas Pendleton, the co-owner of Hart & Huntington Tatoo Shop.
I couldn’t believe it. The bell rang while I was still out in the hallway. Then when I went to talk to Thomas, he was gone just like that.
When I got home he was there, but the problem was that only I could see him. I asked him why only I could see him, and his response was “because you need someone to help you.”
At first, I thought I didn’t need help, but then I realized I was lying to myself. So a week went by before Thomas told me I needed to make 3 wishes to help myself. What a sweet man!
After thinking for about 5 minutes, I told him what I really needed:
1.) I want to become a person who can help another.
2.) I want to become happy in life.
3.) I want to do something right for once.
When I told him my 3 wishes, he said they were granted. Then he disappeared.
Two weeks passed, nothing happened. Then one day, I find myself being accepted into college as a mental health counselor. I was thrilled!
I graduated from college. I went into the best place you can work as a counselor.
I finally got it. My 3 wishes were granted.
This might not mean anything to you, but my 3 wishes mean a lot to me.
