Get ready to take the new SAT. The class of 2006 will be the first class to take the new SAT for college admissions.
Use Learning Express Library to take sample tests of the Math and Verbal portions of the SAT. Learning Express Library also offers a virtual guide to preparing for the new SAT.

Programming
Plans are underway for several great programs for teens ages 12 -18. If you have an idea for a program let us know.
Summer Volunteers
The children's department of the Hazleton Area Public Library has now begun accepting volunteers to help with our annual Summer Reading Program. Volunteers are asked to spend two hours per week helping to cut out crafts, assist at programs, or other duties as needed.
Volunteers must be 14 years of age by June 2 to be eligible. To sign up or to receive more information, please contact the Children's Deartment at 454-2961. Only a limited number of volunteers will be accepted.
