"Make a Splash...Read" Summer Reading Club 2010 - Toddlers and Preschoolers

Toddler Read To Me
Toddler Storytime (ages 2 and 3) will be offered on Tuesdays at 10:00 AM, unless otherwise noted. Each class is 45 minutes in length and toddlers must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Children must be 2 years of age at the time of registration and must be enrolled in the Summer Reading Club to attend. Adults must register their children each week for the storytime they wish to attend. Each toddler will receive a reading log and be assigned to a "Reading Team".
Preschool Read To Me
Wednesday is the day for preschoolers (ages 4, 5,and 6 who have not yet entered kindergarten) to meet for storytime at the Library. Programs will be offered at 10:00 AM (except as noted) and will last for one hour. Children attend independent of their adult caregiver. Preschoolers must be 4 years old at the time of registration and must be enrolled in the Summer Reading Club to attend. Adults must register their children each week for the storytime they wish to attend. Each preschooler will receive a reading log and be assigned to a "Reading Team".

July 7 10:00AM and 6:30 PM Family Storytime (Toddlers, Preschoolers, and Adult Caregivers)
Reg. 7/6 - "What a Treasure"
July 13 (Toddler) & July 14 (Preschool)
Reg. 7/12 - "What's In the Ocean?"
July 20 (Toddler) & July 21 (Preschool)
Reg. 7/19 - "Let's Go Fishing"
July 27 (Toddler) & July 28 (Preschool)
Reg. 7/26 - "Pond Pets"
August 3 (Toddler) & August 4 (Preschool)
Reg. 8/2 - "Splish, Splash I Was Taking a Bath"
August 10 (Toddler) & August 11 (Preschool)
Reg. 8/9 - "Beach Party"
August 13 - Last day to complete reading log requirements.
August 19 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon and 1:00 - 3:00 PM - Finisher's Party - An Open House Celebration for all reading log finishers. No registration is necessary.
